Belief in conspiracy theories in the UK
New Survey
A new survey by YouGov on the subject of science-based conspiracy theories in the UK has revealed reasonably high levels of belief in two of the more mainstream yet still unsubstantiated conspiracies. Of the 2,000 adults polled, a quarter said they believed to some degree that the threat of climate change is over exaggerated. One in five also professed to seeing at least some truth to the claim made by anti-vaxxers that vaccinations have harmful effects which are not being fully disclosed to the public.
