Throughput of waterway goods handled in ports in Denmark 2019, by type and flag state
In 2019, the throughput of goods in containers handled in major ports in Denmark transported by Danish cargo ships amounted to roughly 1.8 million metric tons. During this year, the most common type of goods transported by cargo ships registered in foreign countries were mineral oil products, amounting to a throughput of roughly 14 million metric tons. Other popular goods shipped to and from Denmark by cargo ships registered abroad were boulders, sand, gravel, as well as crude oil.
