Reasons to buy at a higher price in-store rather than cheaper online Poland 2019-2020
In 2020, compared to 2019, the willingness to accept higher prices in physical shops for Internet users in Poland who do showrooming decreased. Consumers were less likely to purchase in-store if the price was higher. However, lowering the price in such a way as to make it more comparable to the price available online was convincing for 28 percent of "showrooming consumers". What's more, consumers still shop in-store because they can get a discount or gift voucher or to see and touch the product or take it home straight away.
