Regional year-on-year inflation rate in Ghana August 2021
The inflation rate in Ghana, as of August 2021, was highest in the Northern region, which registered a growth of 14.6 percent from August of the previous year. This was followed by the Greater Accra and the Upper West regions with a rate of inflation reported at 12.8 and 11.9 percent, respectively. The region which achieved the lowest price levels of household goods and services was Eastern, at three percent. Overall, four regions in the country recorded a Consumer Price Index above the national average of 9.7 percent.
