Likelihood to invest in seniors housing near and long term in the U.S. 2020

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all sectors, but seniors housing is especially sensitive to pandemics because seniors are classified as a risk group for fatal complications from the diseases. Almost 40 percent of respondents to an August 2020 survey said they were less likely to make near term investments in seniors housing in the United States. The COVID-19 pandemic has taken its toll. However, just 15 percent of respondents say they were less likely to invest in seniors housing in the long run.
