Preparation rate for natural disasters among companies Japan 2020, by company size
According to a survey conducted in October 2020, approximately 54.9 percent of large companies in Japan stated that they implemented measures to prepare for natural disasters. By comparison, only about 33 percent of medium-sized and around 25.7 percent of small-sized companies adopted measures against natural disasters. According to the same survey, earthquakes were the natural disaster of the biggest concern among Japanese companies.
