According to a survey conducted in late 2020, 70 percent of U.S. residents responded to the economic turbulence caused by the pandemic by adding more money into savings. Another common change was to buy investments, which 45 percent of respondents stated to have done, and another 44 percent stated to have adjusted their retirement plan investments.
