EU energy import volume from Russia by product 2022

The volume of most energy products imported from Russia to the European Union (EU) in 2022 was lower than in the previous year. Crude petroleum oils and oils from bituminous minerals were the most imported source, at nearly 95 million metric tons, followed by natural gas (in gaseous state) and coal. However, the EU increased its liquefied natural gas (LNG) imports from Russia between 2021 and 2022.
