In a survey conducted in the Asia-Pacific region in 2021, over 70 percent of respondents in China considered podcast ads to not be very trustworthy or not trustworthy at all. Podcast advertising had the highest trust rate in India, with close to 50 percent of the country's respondents considering it to be either somewhat or very trustworthy.
