Russia: iOS users' mobile payment method changes 2022

As per a survey conducted in May 2022, 96 percent of iPhone users in Russia who had used Apple Pay for their purchases in the past switched to a physical bank card, while 40 percent began using cash. Apple was among the international tech companies that suspended their services in Russia, including Apple Pay, following the war in Ukraine that started in February 2022.
