Monthly gold holdings of the BoE January 2018-March 2024
The recorded monthly gold holdings of the Bank of England (BoE) has been quite volatile in the previous four years. Beginning in January 2018, the BoE held roughly 171,000 fine troy ounces of gold. The volume of holdings peaked in September 2021, before entering into a steady decline. The BoE now held 166,095 troy ounces by March 2024.
