U.S. video gamers who made social connections via gaming 2023

Video gaming is a popular way for gamers to connect with friends and family and many gamers have formed relationships through video games. During an April 2023 survey, 82 percent of responding gamers in the United States stated that video games had introduced them to new friendships and relationships, and 50 percent of respondents stated that they had met a good friend, spouse, or significant other through gaming.
