A 2022 survey found that U.S. adults with a family income of 100 thousand U.S. dollars or more were the most likely to currently buy printed newspapers, at 29 percent. In contrast, the share among those with an income of under 50 thousand U.S. dollars was 10 percent lower, with this group also the likeliest to have given up purchasing physical papers.
