Adults who had unmet healthcare needs in the EU 2021-2022, by service type
As of 2022, 43 percent of people surveyed in the European Union (EU) reported that they had an unmet need for hospital or specialist care. Furthermore, some 23 percent of respondents said they had unmet mental healthcare needs, an increase from 20 percent in 2021.
