Office workers' choices over gastric medicines in China 2023
According to a survey conducted in China in 2023, over 64 percent of office workers chose Chinese patent medicine when they had stomach discomforts, followed by prokinetic or digestive drugs with 49 percent. The survey showed that stomach discomfort and disease had become a common problem among office workers, with over 94 percent of respondents having encountered it. It was related to heavy workloads, emotional stress, as well as unhealthy eating habits.
