Agri-food self-sufficiency in Kyrgyzstan 2021, by product
Among basic agricultural food product categories, Kyrgyzstan had the highest self-sufficiency rate for fruit and berries, at 111 percent in 2021. In other words, national production of fruit and berries in the country exceeded the domestic demand for that product category. The lowest self-sufficiency levels were recorded for vegetable oils and grains.
