State of memory of adults 53+ years old in Mexico 2021
As of 2021, more than 50 percent of adults aged 53 years and older in Mexico perceived their state of memory to be fair, 35 percent considered themselves to have a good memory, 9.5 percent ranked their memory state as excellent or very good, and 4.7 percent rated the quality of their memory to be poor. That year, an estimated 60 percent of women within the analyzed age range perceived their state of health as fair, compared to 50 percent of men.
