Tuberculosis incidence rate in Costa Rica 2010-2021
In 2021, the incidence rate of tuberculosis in Costa Rica amounted to 11 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. During the period analyzed, there was a decrease in the incidence rate of tuberculosis in the country, going from 13 to 11 cases per 100,000 people. In the last year depicted, around 88 percent of the population in Costa Rica was vaccinated against tuberculosis.
