Dengue cases incidence rate in Peru 2014-2024
The incidence rate of dengue cases in Peru fluctuated over the analyzed period, increasing notably in the last years reported. In 2023, the rate peaked at 822.05 cases per 100,000 people. Between January and April 2024, this figure amounted to 580.31 cases per 100,000 population, following an outbreak affecting the Latin American region. During the last year depicted, Peru was one of the countries with the highest dengue incidence in Latin America.Â
