Dengue cases incidence rate in Costa Rica 2014-2024
Between 2014 and 2023, the incidence rate of dengue cases in Costa Rica fluctuated between a minimum of 55.22 cases per 100,000 people in 2018 and a maximum of 582.46 cases per 100,000 people in 2023. During the beginning of 2024, the incidence rate of dengue in the country reached 152.58 cases per 100,000 people. Within the Latin American region, Paraguay is the country with the highest dengue incidence rate.
