The number of shoot days spent on television productions in Greater Los Angeles witnessed a year-to-year variation from 2017 to 2023, with 2021 and 2022 seeing the highest numbers, almost reaching 5,000 shoot days. Notably, the sharpest decrease was of 52 days, occurred in the second quarter of 2020, probably due to disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Also, due to the writers and actors strike in 2023, TV productions steadily declined that year.
