This statistic shows the main triggers for switching gas suppliers in Great Britain in 2015. Of those surveyed, 72 percent of consumers believed the new supplier to be cheaper - this was the leading trigger leading to a switch in suppliers. Seven percent also believed a new supplier had better customer service, and nine percent of respondents switched gas suppliers because they had moved homes.
