Pear production volume in Japan 2012-2021
In 2021, the production volume of Japanese pears (nashi) in Japan amounted to approximately 185 thousand tons, the lowest amount of the past decade. Within the observed period, pear production peaked in 2012 at around 275 thousand tons, but the Japanese pear output has decreased steadily in the following years.
