Dassault Systèmes: annual revenue from 2010-2017
Dassault Systèmes belongs to the IT-Branch from the Dassault Group
Also known as 3DS or „The 3DEXPERIENCE Company “, the Dassault Systèmes is specialized in the development of 3D design softwares as well as in the conception of PLM (Product lifecycle management) softwares. This company’s increase of revenue follows into the footsteps of other subsidiaries from the Dassault Group, such as the Dassault Aviation, whose revenue rose to 4.8 billion euros in 2017 from an initial level of approximately 3.3 billion euros in 2011. It should be noted that the increase of the revenue from the Dassault Aviation Company seems to be largely due to the sale of the Rafale fighter aircraft. Between 2011 and 2014, the Dassault Aviation annually supplied the French Air Force with 11 Rafale aircrafts. Further 12 aircrafts were sold to the French Air force between 2015 and 2017.
The sale of the Softwares developed by the Dassault Systèmes annually increases and becomes more diversified
Dassault Systèmes’ volume of sales has been continuously increasing. As of 2017, all of the computer softwares developed and commercialized by Dassault presented an increase of their respective value of sales. The sale of those softwares also became more diversified: in 2017, the value of sales from softwares other than Dassault’s flagship softwares amounted to almost 847 million euros.
