This statistic displays the percentage of U.S. adults living in rural areas that selected various indicators of poor health during surveys done between 2012 and 2015, by ethnicity. According to the results, 28.9 percent of American Indian or Alaskan Native adults living in rural areas indicated that they had a health status that was fair or poor.
