Venezuela: internal travel and tourism consumption 2010-2019
Over the past decade, Venezuela's internal travel and tourism consumption has been turbulent. From 2010 until 2013, the Latin American country experienced an increase in annual revenues from this industry, with the amount peaking in 2013 at 7.82 billion U.S. dollars. However, these numbers have been on a downward slide since 2015. In 2019, Venezuela's internal tourism consumption dropped to 2.98 billion U.S. dollars, making that year the industry's least profitable of the decade.
