Climatological disasters include drought, forest fires, and land fires.
Geophysical disasters consist of ash fall, associated avalanches, earthquakes or other ground movements, landslides, lava flows, rockfalls, and tsunamis.
Hydrological disasters include associated avalanches, coastal floods, flash floods, landslides, mudslides, riverine floods, rockfalls, and subsidence.
Meteorological disasters include cold waves, convective storms, heat waves, severe winter conditions, and tropical cyclones.
