COVID-19 impact on cancellation and postponement of B2B exhibitions in the U.S. 2020
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic impacted the exhibition industry dramatically as travel bans and strict safety measures took place worldwide to reduce the spread of the virus. The B2B exhibition industry in the United States was also hit hard by the health crisis. According to an April 2020 survey, roughly six in ten surveyed executives of U.S. B2B exhibitions stated that their organizations canceled one or more events. When the same survey was repeated in June 2020, about 73 percent of the respondents claimed that one or more B2B exhibition cancellations occurred.
