Current and future use of warehousing and distribution in U.S. retail 2030
In the United States, 53 percent of supply chain executives estimated to be working with regional distribution centers by 2030, up from the current use reported by 35 percent of respondents. While local distribution centers might slightly decline, local facilities and in-store distribution centers are expected to become more common by 2030.
