Revenue of tea companies in Kenya 2020
In 2020, tea factories managed by KTDA in Kenya reached in total a revenue of approximately 79 billion Kenyan shillings (KSh), around 731.8 million U.S. dollars. KTDA Management Services is a private company and administers over 50 small tea farms in the country. Among the selected manufacturers, it accumulated the highest market share in Kenya's tea industry. Williamson Tea Kenya Plc had the second largest market share, with sales revenue exceeding three billion KSh, roughly 28.1 million U.S. dollars. Additionally, the company is the major shareholder from Kapchorua Tea Kenya Plc, which recorded, in its turn, 1.1 billion Ksh (10.5 million U.S. dollars) in revenue.
