Electricity generated from fossils in Nigeria 2000-2022
As of 2022, electricity generated from fossil fuels amounted to 23.28 terawatt hours in Nigeria. In the preceding year, the amount was somewhat higher, at around 23.4 terawatt hours. Within the period observed, the contribution of fossil fuels to the production of electricity in the country peaked in 2014, at over 25 terawatt hours.
