Japan: leading projects for subcontracting software developers 2021

In a survey conducted in 2021, 39.5 percent of subcontracting software development companies in Japan stated that contracted development of mission-critical systems was the most common type of project in their case. At the same time, less than three percent of surveyed companies engaged in the development of smartphone apps.
