Polio vaccine coverage among infants in Latin America & the Caribbean 2010-2020
In 2020, the population of infants vaccinated against polio in Latin America and the Caribbean amounted to nearly 83 percent, down from 89.8 percent a year earlier. The immunization coverage rate against polio in the region decreased by around nine percentage points compared to 2010, when the share of vaccinated infants reached approximately 92.6 percent.
