European shared mobility ridership growth 2022 to 2023
Between the third quarter of 2022 and the third quarter of 2023, ridership of shared bikes and cars in Europe increased. Dockless bike schemes saw particularly strong growth, with a ridership increase of 24 percent. Scooter and moped ridership on the other hand fell during this period, as some operator exited the market and the e-scooter ban in Paris took hold in September 2023.
