Italian mobile users trust in organizations for personal data storing and usage 2023
According to a survey of global smartphone users carried out in Italy, around six in 10 respondents reported trusting doctors and hospital organizations with their data as of May 2023. Banks and credit card companies were trusted by around 53 percent of respondents, while 21 percent of respondents did not trust much or at all of these financial institutions with the data they shared with them via mobile. Online retailers, such as Amazon, enjoyed the same level of trust as banks and credit card companies, with 53 percent of Italian mobile users reporting trusting a bit or in full these online providers with their data.
