Major reasons for entrepreneurship being rare in Japan FY 2022
According to a survey conducted in fiscal year 2022 among Japanese venture businesses, one of the leading reasons for few people starting a business in Japan was fear of failure. While fear of failure was a reason for almost 48 percent of startups surveyed, over 21 percent regarded the lack of role models as an important factor.
