This statistic shows the rate of registrations of newly diagnosed cases of skin melanoma cancer per 100,000 population in England from 1995 to 2020, by gender. Skin melanoma cancer is a cancer which develops in melanocytes, the pigment cells in the skin. In 2020, 25 males and 21.6 females per 100,000 population were registered as newly diagnosed with skin melanoma cancer.
