Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans: EBIT 2023

In the fiscal year of 2023, Mercedes-Benz Cars recorded an EBIT of around 17.36 billion euros, a decrease of nearly five percent as compared to the previous year. Following the loss of around 110 million euros (or some 134 million U.S. dollars) in 2019, Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans' EBIT rose to nearly 5.2 billion euros in 2020, and reached over 18.2 billion euros in 2022. Profit figures increased despite the coronavirus pandemic that year largely due to an improved sales structure and positive development of the company's used car segment.
