In 2022 , primary care physicians were surveyed on the quality of healthcare they provide after the COVID-19 pandemic. According to this survey, the quality of care provided by primary care physicians has mostly remained the same or worsened after the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2022, compared to before the COVID-19 pandemic, between 40 percent and 50 percent of physicians surveyed in New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and Sweden stated that the quality of care they were able to provide after the COVID-19 pandemic had somewhat worsened. Less than three percent of surveyed doctors declared that the quality of care they provide had significantly improved post-COVID-19.
