Industrial and logistics: most attractive property types 2023

Big-box warehousing was the most popular type of industrial and logistics real estate among investors, according to a global survey conducted in late 2022. Approximately 26 percent of the respondents planned to invest in this property type throughout 2023. The source noted that though fewer investors planned to invest in container terminals and industrial or manufacturing parks, the popularity of these facilities has grown. This can be explained by the the rise of nearshoring - a process in which businesses transfer operations closer to home.
